PE Home

All students attending Roanoke County Schools are required to wear athletic shoes for Physical Education and classroom PE.  This policy exists for your child's safety.  We are sending this reminder because the change in weather has caused several students to wear shoes that are not appropriate for PE.  If your child has to wear a shoe that is not appropriate for physical activity, please make sure that they have a pair of athletic shoes packed in their backpack that they can change into before their scheduled daily Physical Education.  Students that don't have athletic shoes will not be able to participate with their classmates and may have an alternative assignment.  Thank you for considering your child's safety and valuing your child's Physical Education.
