CEP Schools & Free and Reduced Meal Applications
2024-2025 Community Eligibility Provision Schools Announcement
Certain schools in the division will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) as implemented through the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. Schools participating in CEP this year are:
Burlington Elementary, Glen Cove Elementary, Herman L. Horn Elementary, Masons Cove Elementary, Mount Pleasant Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, Northside High, Northside Middle, W.E. Cundiff Elementary, and William Byrd Middle School.
All students attending a CEP school will be provided a nutritious breakfast and lunch meal each day at no cost. Households with students attending these schools will not be required to submit a meal application or to pay a fee for these students to receive meals.
Free and Reduced Meal Applications
Household applications for the free and reduced meal program are now being accepted online. Households must reapply each year.

Paper applications are available in the front office of your child's school.
Only one meal application per household is required. Eligibility is determined by household size and income.
An eligibility determination letter will be mailed to you after your application is reviewed. The above CEP schools no not need to apply.
